Ms. Muskan Rathore
My one-month internship at Psycho Wellness Centre was an incredibly enriching and insightful journey that played a vital role in shaping my understanding of the field of clinical and counseling psychology. During this period, I was fortunate to observe a wide range of therapy sessions conducted by experienced professionals, both in online and offline settings.
These sessions exposed me to diverse client cases involving anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other psychological concerns, allowing me to witness firsthand the practical application of various therapeutic approaches such as CBT, REBT, and client-centered therapy. Apart from session observation, I also gained knowledge about the ethical guidelines followed in clinical practice, confidentiality protocols, client-therapist boundaries, and documentation procedures.
The internship helped me strengthen my observational and note-taking skills, improved my ability to analyze psychological patterns, and deepened my empathy and understanding of human behavior. I also had the opportunity to engage in case discussions and reflective learning with mentors, which further enhanced my critical thinking and theoretical clarity. Overall, this internship has been a foundational step in my journey as a psychology student, and it has inspired me to pursue this path with greater commitment, curiosity, and compassion.
