Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a therapy used by behaviorist that involves many
techniques for helping children with autism, developmental delays or disabilities. In early
intervention, therapy is given to kids at very young age or as soon as possible. This therapy is based on the idea of using rewards and consequences, where kids can learn new skills to increase positive behavior and reduce problem behavior.

Early intervention and ABA therapy can help children in following ways:

  • To increase positive behavior or minimize/control challenging behavior
  • To increase language and communication skills
  •  Kids can follow rules, routines, and multistep directions
  •  Kids can listen to and talks with adults and peers
